THE DAYS OF SKIPPING SCHOOL TO GET NEW RELEASES!!!!!!!!
yessss bro, and it was almost always on a Tuesday

If they used My World as an instrumental I mightn't of hated it. He just sounds so much like Steve-O on that track it's hilarious.

Slash's lead guitar is on fire

Terrible news. Hope he pulls through

Always thought the bloke was a prize bellend but one simply cannot fuck with that civil war solo.

Slash has been so overrated by mainstream media that he turned into a way too underrated guitarist on more elitist music circles
|
| |
lol. That is spot on.

The Slash look - could it have worked with e-cigarettes?

Yeah you should. They’re inconsistent as hell but definitely worth a look. II > I, though some disagree.
Estranged is absolutely and unequivocally G n’R’s best song.

I made a 3.5 but then I only rate 'Appetite' a 3.5 - it was on a RYM list I put up, copied below:
1. Right Next Door to Hell [3.5/5] (still has to start with a greasy rocker)
2. Double Talkin Jive [4/5] (but now it's followed up by an 'It's So Easy'ish number with a great solo)
3. Don't Cry [4/5] (the Spanish guitar part of DTJ leads into the first ballad, bit sappy this one but it's solid)
4. 14 Years [4/5] (a Stones'y one from Izzy which I prefer to 'Dust n' Bones but if you don't hey swap them)
5. November Rain [4.5/5] (you need a big hit on Side A)
6. Civil War [4.5/5] (and you have to kick off Side B with something grabby too)
7. Perfect Crime [3.5/5] (album needs some pace at this point, this track brings that)
8. You Could Be Mine [4/5] (probably the most successful rock tune of the set, so it cements that we're still listening to the old G n' R)
9. So Fine [4/5] (the most controversial pick, and Duff sings (eh?) but it's something new for the band and it works here as a different type of ballad/slow number)
10. Estranged [4/5] (some people would prefer 'Coma' but for me that's half a song that works and half that’s unlistenable - 'Estranged' isn't quite the classic it bills itself as...but the guitar work IS great and overall it's a better song imo)

That's a solid tracklist, really like all those songs.
Agreed with Right Next Door to Hell, starts the record off with a bang.

I'd pick Live and Let Die's cover. I love that one
It seems people don't like it though
