I have this album and its decent about 1 time through... Its funny how if you watch the DVD closely and watch Brad Delson playing. You will notice in the beginning of a couple of songs (I forget which ones) he starts off with one guitar and all of a sudden he has a different guitar in the middle and end??

they made this because they could, because everyone has already herd the songs on the radio and its just a junk greatest hits colection. and the wanan promote themselves live and make alot of cash. sadly it worked unsted of coming out with halfway decent new material...and footage was taken from 2 diffrent shows so theres little flaws like brads guitar switches all thoughout the dvd

Linkin Park definitely is not a good live band. The songs all sound the same as the record. In my opinion, the point of live performances is to change the songs around and add new twists and turns. There's not much of that on this DVD. Maybe on pushing away and 1 step closer, but that's about it.

I dont see why everyone calls LP sellouts. Just because they like reusing thier songs (Reanimation, Live in Texas, Collision Course) doesnt mean they are sellouts. All that really means is that its pissing off their fans by not releasing any new material, not really being sellouts, because frankly, they arent making any money off them. Reanimation was really for LP fans, i can imagine anyone else liking that album. LP barely got any of the money from Collision course, the money was split between two record companies, two artists, etc.

Oh yeah also, The DVD is actually footage from two shows put together. That is why it is called Live in Texas, not live in Dallas. Maybe that is also part of the reason why there are few mistakes. It would be easy to edit out mistakes if it was two shows. Actually if you watch the DVD you notice that during "A Place For My Head" Phoenix almost trips and falls on his face. But also LP is also kinda known for having real good shows. They probably should have filmed one of their shows that they were headlining, when i saw them they were headlining, and they were talking to the crowd a lot more and seemed a lot more comfortable.

I don't see why this was even a necessary release. They have had 2 original cd's (this is basically those two albums put together with no changes), two remix albums (Reanimation and Collison Course), and two offical DVD's (Pankake and this). They really don't seem to have a mind of their own, Warner Bros. Records says do this even though the world will call you sellouts, and they don't even attempt to resist they just do it. They put out a great album in the genre then like the majority of nu-metal artists became sellouts.

Anyone who actually cared about their music would want full artistic and commercial control.

Exactly what i was trying to say, they bend to the will of Warner Bros. far to much to not be in it for the money.

It's actually sad that after Hybrid Theory LP went down the drain so bad...

Yes I know, I mean I really thought that Hybrid Theory was a great nu-metal album (everything a nu-metal album should be) then they release Re-animation, and I am like ok well a remix album I get it find like two songs I like, and just forget about it. Then they hype up Meteora like it is the second coming I get it and I felt like I have heard this album before. Then I realize that I have it's Hybrid Theory only not as good with new lyrics and a few new riffs. Of course then they drop Collision Course and this and all I can say is I really can't stand them anymore. They are Warner Bros. puppets.

eehm. 1.5 stars, that's really too harsh. I would give them a 3 stars, not bad but not very good

fanboy,

They started out really well with hybrid theory. Then it just went down down down. They lack originallity. All their music seems fake and just made to make money. The band lacks passion.

yeah that's true, but don't call me fanboy, oke, 4.5 stars it too high, but it's not very poor, it's decent. by the way, i think meteora is really good. reanimations is like 2.5 stars and collision courses is about -2 stars, very f***ed up.
