I think it's a solid album. It's consistent for the most part, although not every song is amazing, it manages to keep me listening the whole way through. I saw weezer a few weeks ago and they played most of Make Believe, and the songs are good live. Brain plays the keyboards generally for the songs that have them.
Good review, whether or not you agree, it was well written.

Pinkerton was fantastic dude. Come on Desensitized yer the guy who was like clicking with me in everything! ugh.
Anyway there are two reviews for this album. This one is far overrated. The other is A one made by a jerkoff who made it for no other reason to call out weezer. There are only 6 good songs on it. Thats half. An average record.
And I'm gonna get nailed like shit for this, but come on, I love Beverly Hills and We Are All On Drugs. Whats the problem with them?

I finally heard this the other day, and yeah, it's brutal.
In particual, Rivers should be shot for "We Are All on Drugs". Same goes to my local rock station DJ who plays it endlessly all day, every day

Hi everyone! The rest of Robertpollard's opinions can also be found at pitchforkmedia.com!!
Get involved in an actual musical community, dipshit. Open the start menu, glide your little mouse across "shut down", and go talk to real people without agendas.
The presence of notes are always better than the lack thereof. Anyone who takes a score of 4/100 seriously has no authentic interest in music. The "review" is, in all likelihood, another literary ego trip by some pissed off, 20-yr old English major in a college dorm room.
The site has been a joke for years among music lovers. If you think you're hip cruising through such blatent name-dropping, self-indulgent gossip, you're way out of the loop.
And music is not a social agent. Everybody's allowed to like everything. All music has an audience.

Wow weezerrocks is a douchebag, but anyways, like the guy from pinkerton, you've stated such great things, like why do they pick the most crappiest songs for a single, cause its the most "Mtv Material" but anyways, i know that weezer needs to change, and i have to admit that its better than green and maladroit, and average is a fair rating, but i would have rated it i tiny bit lower on the songs.
