it just doesn't match Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Paranoid and so on
Definitely, it seems to me the band had to move on as they was stagnating in relevance and these were sort of transitional albums at the very least until Dio era.
I don't think it could have been any other way.

hmm bought this when i first started collecting... but didnt spin it much cause of its mostly negative rep... however, listened again tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it... most of the usual complaints about this album are ligitiment, such as the mostly poor quality of ozzy's vocals.
just because this isnt AS good and previous BS albums, doesnt mean its a terrible album overall...
