Anyone who wants to get a QOTSA album have this be the last one on your list as it is repitive and boring. Songs for the Deaf is 100x better than this.

I actually find this album to be quite underrated. Granted, it's to be expected when its the follow up of Songs for the Deaf, but 2 stars? Hmmm. It definitely isn't paced well, because from Someone's in the Wolf (which reminds me of Better Living Through Chemistry), it drags until the end (this section is predominantly R-ish), but taken individually, each track is well done. I think Homme has grown as a vocalist and shows it on this album. 4/5 stars from me.

this album is just boring. Lacking the energy that clearly, Dave Groehl brought to the table with Songs for the Deaf. I'm not thrilled by the album whatsoever.

I don't know what the hell is wrong with everyone, this was a well written review. Just because you don't agree with it, doesn't mean that it wasn't well written.
That said, I don't agree fully with what you said, I agree that the second half of the album tends to drag. I disliked this album at first, but it has grown on me. Don't like it as much as SFTD or Rated R though.
Ur review sux. Therefore u suck. Lullabies to Paralyze is a great album. U dint even give a review of each song. Y not acually do a good review next time. idiot
This is an idiots response to this review, which I thought was a pretty damn good review.
If you're going to overwrite a review someone else actually worked on,
see, this is a good response because it did seem a little plagarized. but i did the "type the first sentence" in google thing and it brought me back here. So this review was definitley Nmrod's.

This is the first QOTSA album I bought and I found songs one through nine to be interesting, while after that, the songs were good, but songs ten and eleven weren't really for me. Twelve, thirteen, and fourteen, in my opinion, were a bit better. All of this is without having heard any QOTSA before "Lullabies to Paralyze." Could it be that a person with an open mind and hasn't heard any of their previous stuff might be more ready to accept it? Or I could just be a noob.

Queens Of The Stne Age annoy the living crap out of me. The singer's voice is just unbearable at times. However, there was some okay songs on this albm, I will admit.
