I have always wanted to pick up a Deftones album but I never have and after reading this review I just might pick this one up. Digital Bath is a really great song. And if Maynard sings on this then I want it lol.

I really thought this album was meh when I heard it the first time or two, but by the 4th or 5th listen I was blown away, and now it's one of my favorite albums of all time.

I've never appreciated this CD as much until tonight. Makes for damn fine background music whilst studying geography.

Makes for great foreground music while writing a lab report.

Passenger is, at least in some context, about Chino and Maynard blowing each other...both are bisexual but obviously it has deeper meaning...amazing song no matter what



Back to School was written by Chino to show how easy it is to write a radio-friendly hit single. I'm pretty sure they do not play it live. It was the first rock-ish song i ever liked but since the band doesn't even consider it more than a goof, i didn't get the special addition.



Album might be a 5 at some point, not sure yet. Chino sounds an awful lot like Chester from Linkin Park at some points on the album. Just thought id throw that out there as well...This Message Edited On 10.27.08

the version of White Pony with Back To School(Mini Maggit) sucks, the song is completely unnecessary and shouldn't be on the album. The part "Push back the square, now that you need it..." is great in Pink Maggit because it's so well executed, in Back To School it is badly done and the rap verses plain old suck

ha when I first listened to Passenger I thought that Chino sounded just like Maynard James Keenan and then i found out he sang in that song....



But yeah album is amazing. The only song I'm not particularly fond of is Feiticeira, it just doesn't stand out to me.



Knife Prty is one of the best songs i've heard in a while. Passenger, Elite, Change, and Digital Bath are also favorites of mine. Teenager is really good too.

the last half of the album is much better than the first half - it's actually the first half that prevents this from being a 5 for me
