There's a certain power in the emotion of Chino's full-on screaming agony that turns some of these songs into masterpieces when they would otherwise just be weird. Korea became one of my favorite songs that way. (it's a misspelling of the disease Chorea btw)

Seems like you have to listen to the deftones a lot to fall in love with them.

amazing album, i bought it today, and it managed a rare feat... it kicked my ass then soothed it better again. fucking jaw-dropping.

am i the only one who thinks that the female shrieks in "knife party" are reminiscent of "the great gig in the sky" by pink floyd? (and btw, that is a HUGE compliment to the Deftones and the guest vocalist on that track)!

Easily the best of the Deftones, Thougful and insightful, yet haunting.

Deftones are one of my favourite bands. I'll never be able to get enough of Chino's voice or Abe's drumming. Great album in White Pony, can't wait to hear what they do this year with #5.

This album is ok, not their best work though IMO.

And I really don't like the song "Back To School".

Ok i just started to get into these guys and so far my favorite song is Passenger. My reasoning though is that the song scares the crap out of me. Anyone else feels this way.

There are soooo many amazingly haunting/beautiful tracks/moments on this album. There is just soooo much emotion. Beautiful Album.

Pink Maggit has one of the coolest and heaviest riffs ive ever heard, you know right when the song kicks in.

I find it appalling that the overall average rating of this album is only 4.1 (so is PT's In Absentia), while A Tribe Called Quest is a 4.3!!

Some justice please!!

I could have gotten this yesterday for $10, but didn't think it was worth it.
