I really don't get why I don't love this on the same biggest-5.0-in-the-universe level as their best ones. There are so many greeaat tracks here! Yet something is forever holding me back with this one.

this doesn't have the same highlights as Planet or Souvenirs, i think. lots of very solid tracks, but Amity is the only one I'd rate as S-tier TG

still very much enjoy "analog park", "shot to pieces" (cuz vocals), "saturnine" and "morphia's waltz", but struggle to get into the rest of the songs

Analog Park yesss! I actually love all of these. Hence the 4.5 haha. But just not on the same level as the others (Planet and Souvenirs mainly, Johnny we have the same faves as far as TG is concerned). Time to revisit this though!

Planet is probably my fave record ever. There's something about it that I find so incredibly appealing, still don't really know what it is specifically but it is all the way up there. To the highest of highs.
