Just listened to this (and the band) for the first time ever and I dig it a lot. Bodies in Flight is an awesome opener. A lot of this reminded me of old Fightstar too - there's no way Charlie wasn't influenced by these guys.

I legitimately had no idea they sounded like this so I was caught off guard. I'm not sure I ever heard their newer stuff either but I just assumed they were a Garden State indie band and I was wildly wrong. Lmao. I'll deep dive into this one before checking out the other albums.

Id say this is their most unique and experimental sounding album so don't be surprised if their other records will be a letdown in that regard. They all have something to offer though, even if in ellipsis case its only the bonus tracks lol

It's possible. I just dabbled a bit with Only Revolutions and I'm listening to and liking Wolves of Winter from Ellipsis.
Also, I'll need to obtain Infinity Land since it's not available for streaming in the US.

I'm going to put this album in the same class with Sparta and Million Dead. I don't know many albums that make me feel the way this one does but it's the same feeling of longing that the other two bands give me. It's like they make me miss something I never had.

The album keeps getting better with each listen and I love how unique it is. There's no better feeling than discovering an album that you know is something truly special compared to its peers.
Really bums me out that every friend I've asked about Biffy Clyro since finding this has told me they'd never even heard of them. I need people to gush over this with.
