I loved your review, but this album was a bit of a let down to me.
I find it really hard to sit down and listen to, it's better driving music.

some peep said that people on ly like this alblum because of another brick in the wall prt 2.. not true.... in fact i think that that is the most aggervating track in the alblum(at least the lyric part)

dude awesome review!
The Wall is a great floyd album with a lot of really good songs. A lot of people have been saying that their are a lot of fillers on this album and that they can be annoying. That's what I thought when I started listening to the wall. But as you listen to the album more and more, you start to enjoy the fillers and you start to understand why they are in the album. I give it a 4.5/5.

if you like the wall, get the live version of the album. most of the songs are better on that, and there are two songs on that album that aren't on the original. plus, the fillers are better.

I never really understood what's so amazing about this album. Half of the album is really boring. Half is great. 'Nuff said.
And the Trial is the worst thing ever recorded.

I love The Wall but I think that their other great work has been shadowed by this album, Dark Side Of The Moon, and Wish You Were Here. Not taking anything away from the popular ablums, they are great peices of work. I think their is even more great stuff that people need to be more exposed to. Especially the Syd Barrett days. It's like a whole different Pink Floyd than what people know. Live at Pompeii I recomend to be one of the best musical movies ever made.
