For example I hate Mother, I just can't stand that track.

but mother is pivotal in understanding where the main character's resentment for his mother comes from. Without that track his mother's roll in "The Trial" would come out of left field. IMO it's one of the best tracks on the first half.

mother is really emotional and the solo is simple yet very warm. Vera is also one of my favourites, despite its short time.
