Of course it has its fair share of great moments but nothing on here really lives up to the constant acclaim for me. Very well

produced and well played, but this is so tiny compared to WYWH and Animals.

"I don't find anything mind blowing or simulating with this one sorry."

So I suppose you could say you're comfortably numb to this album.

Haha fair enough though, but I agree not as good as Animals.

"I don't find anything mind blowing or simulating with this one sorry. Though In The Flesh? and Comfortably Numb are the shit."

what about the thin ice, all three another brick parts, the happiest days, mother, one of my turns, hey you, the show must go on, waiting for the worms and the trial?

I do enjoy Hey You. This really lacks highlights and substitutes them with filler though.

different strokes i suppose, but hey, this is one of the most successful albums in the history of music (and lets face it, our mothers and sisters probably weren't buying this)

there's a reason for it

Also I get that it's about the concept, but the concept isn't gonna interest me that much if that music doesn't wow me ya know? Dark Side Of The Moon is about the concept too, but the music is soooo much better.

Agreed, it's not like other concept albums where the concept is vague or metaphorical. It's a direct story that is progressed by each song.

I had a similar (well, a lil less drastic than) view mongi till a few days ago, then I watched the movie,

delved into the story and got the grandiosity of it all.

One Of My Turns is one of the best musical representations of losing your mind I've ever heard.

Am I the only one who doesn't like Radiohead? I mean, okay, they're good, but not enough to grasp my attention. And even comparing them to Floyd and their emotional dimention seems awkward. I mean, a little respect to human ingeniuity!
