What's really surprising is Mumford and Sons confining themselves to a junkies squalid basement for the past few months listening to nothing but late 80s alt rock at ear bleeding levels. Apparently their next effort is this generations Daydream Nation.

"When I was a child I caught a fleeting glimpse; out of the corner of my eye
I turned to look but it was gone, I cannot put my finger on it now
The child is gone, the dream is gone"
those lyrics have always hit me so hard in the exestential feels its not even funny
Floyd have a knack for doing that

I understand the point when you guys say that the music is 'overrated' - it is. I mean, the first part is
golden, but then there are tracks that 'eh', are annoying. Music-wise I'd rate this a 3.5.
Yet The Wall just goes beyond pure music for the sake's of music, it's a visual/conceptual experience. The
movie blew my mind, fantastic. It's kinda true that they (or just Waters) meant this to be a live/visual
experience rather than on-disc one.
I'm pretty curious to hear the wall live rendition therefore, review here says it's much, much, much better
than on disc

Upon further re listening, just don't get the love. I don't find anything mind blowing or simulating with this one sorry. Though In The Flesh? and Comfortably Numb are the shit.
