I love this album, I think it is probably the best British album I own (which is not saying that much actually...). I just think that in the age of 3 great songs and 10 mediocre ones we live in, this album is absolutely essential. The ones that everyone else mentions are the clear stand-outs, but if you look at the surrounding tracks, you see such intense quality that they deserve a mention as well. None more so than the beautiful This Is Yesterday.

Awesome review by the way!

Ok dude good review, just never ever suggest that Angel Dust is in any way comparable to a Westlife album again, please.

Long overdue.

Frankly, this might have been the hardest album for me to realize as a classic, seeing as I started out with Forever Delayed. I still like Everything Must Go and This Is My Truth..., but even combined they pale in comparison. This is the most poetic album I've ever heard. If Aeroplane were never made, this would be #1 in a heartbeat, but for now I have to say that this is probably #2.

And this review is truly a work of art. Amazing.

I wouldn't say he wrote masterpieces. They're masterpieces on the album, but it was up to the rest of the band to piece together his lyrics, fill the gaps and such.
