We were talking in the Doors thread about which 60's bands aged well. Apparently Barrett-era PF is one of them.

"Think that would all be a matter of opinion..."
And it isn't the same with all our decisions in our lifes, only a matter of personal opinions and decisions? Isn't that how things work?

in the mechanistic universe theory, no. There's literally no such thing as a decision. Every state of particles in any time is the result of the immediate state of particles in t-1 that preceded it and will determine 100% the state of particles in t+1.

That maybe true. My final decision can be influenced by many factors. So, I'm always free to option.

Ah true rabid, but opinions are children of consciousness which is not particular or mechanistic.

Album Rating: 5.0
but if your consciousness is the result of an original t=0 state of affairs, and all the states that preceed that original one can be determined by a finite set of laws, then isn't it really just a continuation of the original state, a path already set? Many world theories have still failed to provide us with proof that there's, well... another world.
