I gave God Loves Ugly and this one listen each and I think I liked this more. To be fair this was a while ago

It's just that ATCQ is my favorite rap group of all time. The Low End Theory is my favorite Hip-Hop album of all time.



I don't really like Wu-Tang.

I could see liking this more on a musical level, there are live instruments and the beats are less minimalist, but lyrically I'd say God Loves Ugly puts this to shame.

Maybe it'll grow on me after repeated listens, I've really yet to give any Atmosphere albums a fair chance even though I listen to a lot of individual songs.

oh I love that song, but no, Bad Dub II was a few years before that. Bird Sings is on Seven's Travels, which is a great album. I could actually see you loving that now that I think about it, it's got a mix of the lyricism from his old stuff and it was the disc where they started getting more musical with the beats.



Actually, yeah, go with Seven's Travels. It's also much easier to find.

sounds good, I feel like I would really like these guys if I actually took the time to get into them and if that album is in the same vein as that song then I could imagine it being really really good.
