'Activation Synthesis Theory' has to be one of the tightest songs on here. The outro tapping riff is so damn good. I still have yet to stumble upon a metal instrumental album of this magnitude.

The new Jeff Loomis album is pretty good, but doesn't even come close to the style and substance found on this album.

I will check that out considering Nevermore are a great band and Loomis is a guitar wizard. Warrel Dane's solo project however...........yikes!

Imagine the solo sections of Nevermore's last album (and maybe a little bit of "Dead Heart..." too), extended over an album. It's great shredding and the backing riffs are awesome, but it gets old really fast.

It's a great gym album or driving album.
hey, actually check out my list and look for the Industrial band "Lo-Fi Scorpio". Their album is free now and think you'd like it.

I just viewed that list and will most likely check out some of your industrial recommendations. Going to download that Lo-Fi Scorpio album.

This album is one of the best instrumental metal albums I've ever heard. It covers all sorts of genres and styles while still staying true to a metal approach. Charlie Zeleny really stands out on this album. Ron is amazing as always, and Alex Webster proves why he is among the best metal bassists around.

I wanted to check this out, but I don't think I could listen to an all instrumental metal album.

Pretty sure alot of people will disagree with you and say they're thankful that there are no iffy bm shrieks.

I wanted to check this out, but I don't think I could listen to an all instrumental metal album.

Grow some balls and give this a go Hawks. This is one of the definitive tech metal albums out there right now. It makes bands like Gorod, Spawn of Possession, and Origin look like kids play.

I think putting black metal shrieks (or any vocals) onto an instrumental album kind of ruins the point; don't you?

Hawks' musical tastes still confuse me sometimes.
