For some reason, I never had this until now. Obviously it's in my top 5 now. I had to wave Kid A "bye bye."

Don't you hate people like that? It's sad in this generation even more than it was before. I seriously think I am the only one in my class who listens to Radiohead. I can't stand it.
The way I see it is: there are 4 types of listeners besides the select few people who know something about music.
1. People who listen to anything that comes on the radio.
2. People who think they know music and listen to unknown bands that still have no skill
3. Metalheads- want a simple formula to every song: scream, thrash, repeat
4. Avid rap listeners. I don't feel like explaining the treachery of avid rap listeners.
You forgot 5. Radiohead fanboys who think they are among the "select few people who know something about music."

Overrated if you ask me though still great. I prefer Kid A and select moments on Amnesiac better though.

Even if I'm not in the mood to listen to this album, I still know it's great.

This album took literally months for me to even get remotely into, now I love it, Climbing Up The Wallsis the best song, it's so powerful and well written.Other favourites are Karma Police, Electioneering, Paranoid Android and Exit Music.

Im not entirely sure where all my comments on this went, But Radiohead shot up to my top three, merely for this album. Then the Bends only heightened my opinion of them. Exit Music, Paranoid Android, No Surprises, Karma Police are great, but for me, The Toruist is this albums best song.

oh and it's my 2nd favorite album of all time, behind Turn On the Bright Lights.

I love this album. I don't see why people would see "let down" as a weak point of the album, that's probably my favorite radiohead song. The harmonies right before it goes into the last chorus (when he goes into his falcetto) bring tears to my eyes. Simply beautiful in every sense of the word.
This album has so much variety that it's really hard to say it has a weak point. No parts are weak as much as they're just different and are pleasing to different tastes. Thus you see so many people debating on the best song/s on this album which is something more albums should be able to do.

I find half of the first half of the album rather lower in quality. The end is amazing song after amazing song, while Airbag, SHA, and Let Down lack that.... special thing needed to make great Radiohead.
Still a 5/5 in anyones book.

Whoa man, normally I'd agree with you on things but not this. I think this is a damn strong start to the album, with Airbag, Paranoid Android, SHA, EMFAF, Let Down, Karma Police...I love all those songs. And the second half is just as strong, if not stronger.

um.. i guess this is "ok computer" week...
so as it is my favorite album of all time, i suppose i should say...
Subterranean Homesick Alien is the best song ever, and obviously the first six songs are better than the second half (though Tourist is godly)
