a think a song like motion picture soundtrack builds tension. i mean, on that the background vocals start to come out more and the organ changes, and the harp becomes more interspersed. exit music is just a fucking slog though. and i mean, i love this album (obviously) and have probably heard it 50 times (no joke), so i doubt my opinion on that song will ever change.

not too surprised by the responses on here; everyone i've ever talked to talks up exit music like it's one of the best things ever written. for me, it's (mostly) boring as fuck and undeserving of the praise. literally every song here is better than it imo - yes, including fitter, happier
