I'd like to solidify my statement in proclaming this as the worst record ever recorded. Also, Winds Of Plague are one of the biggest embarassments to happen to metal since Stryper. What the band should do is either A. break up or B. get mauled by Ligers or even just shot in the face. Album is ridiculousy bad, especially those tacky keyboards. Danzig my man, what the ****?

Best post I've ever read.

this album is pretty below average for the most part, but theres a few instances i can enjoy, such as a few sections on Legions, One Body Too Many and Angels of Debauchery

fun tough guy deathcore masking itself as black metal...
really, all Winds of Plague is is a ripoff and re-sell of Bleeding Through... feel free to disagree

I really dislike the generic, down-tempo breakdowns on this album....where the singer just does gut vocals and what not. It really annoys me. The rest isn't bad though, just nothing new.

Good review.

Saw these guys for a second time on Sunday. They greatly improved their show from when I saw them in August and Johnny's vocals actually were good, despite his shoddy performance on the album.

Anthems of Apocalypse (despite that one awfully gay/slow breakdown) was sick.

A solid band that's been around for a long time, but only now getting officially noticed. Something I would add to the interview is that, while having their own atmosphere, Winds of Plague melodically draws from the same pool melodically as All Shall Perish, but with less technicality. The two major things that would be the turn off for most would be the primarily inward vocals (though you can forget sometimes because of the production), and the terrible lyrics.
