I think some of the songs are fantastic, but others are not. Definitely one of my favorite band names though, believe it or not.

there's a black metal influence on some of the tracks, which is exactly what greer stated. no one is saying this is a black metal record.

Maybe i'm mixing up my genres here (there are just too fucking many that are commonly used now), but I interpret the
atmosphere of the album as being much more drone/doom than black metal.

As I said before, I've heard absolutely nothing on this album that brings the black metal genre to mind. Atmosphere feels more like drone to me. Please show me this bm riffing.

Trying to soak this up after one listen, will prob take some time, but I am impressed.
