Can't understand why I didn't give this band a try back when I heard 'Sequioa throne' a few years ago, but this album is leaving me speechless and simply awed. Overstated as that may be, there really isn't anything that the band don't do effectively here. Instrumentation is virtually perfected to bring in new styles that invoke melodic passages (The piano outros on various songs), furiously frantic guitar riffs and mezmerizing drum rhythms. The vocal range here is so varied that I couldn't even believe there was merely one vocalist-his transition between dull, harsh roars and luscious cleans on 'The dissentience' and 'Palms read' really makes for a unqiue collaboration with the other instruments.

Kezia is best by far. I even prefer Volition over this but this is awesome in it's own right.

I concur with Fear's statement. I think C'est La Vie is the 2nd best opener at the moment.

Yeah Kezia is the best. They got way too samey after that, though this is still a jam and a half
