I'll never forget finding this album in 2006, I was trying to pirate Cradle Of Filth's Thornography on limewire and someone uploaded Limbs but labeled it as the new COF single. I remember being like wtf, Cradle is really changing it up! Then I realized it was Agalloch and I fell in love with them from then on. Another fun time was when I was partying with a random metalhead who never heard of Agalloch and I showed him Fire Above and the dude basically went into a coma for 10 minutes. It was very funny. When it ended he was like wtf just happened, I just laughed

Fire Above, Ice Below and Not Unlike the Waves are 2 of the greatest songs this band have ever done. Album is pretty good.

Would be amazing if they ended up making new music, especially considering I'm one of the few who thinks Serpent is amazing too. I know they got together for some shows in the recent past so lets hope! M///

I am basic in that my favourite song from them is Pale Companion. I haven't listened to Serpent in ages but I remember thinking it was way overhated. Still their worst though.
