That's fair tbh. They were the two big female country-rockers at the time, and they both brought country to the pop rock crowd (and vice versa) in similar ways

they also have vaguely similar names i guess?

anyway, guess i need to look up some Shania Twain and Sheryl Crow.

I definitely prefer Twain, but they both have their share of bangers. To me, Twain was just able to say and accomplish a lot more in a shorter discog. The fact that she sold over 100 million records with only five albums is crazy

Sheryl Crow's first three are pretty great, serious nosedive in quality after that. Not really much in common with Shania Twain except some vague country crossover
