'axioma is memorable for being blackmetal park yeah (or black metal reveries?)'

blackmetal park, lol

probably what attracted me to the album to begin with, definitely wore off a tad after a while but its still enormously more satisfying than a couple of their other recent-ish albums.

LOOOOVE Bounded By Allegiance. So melodic and adventurous.

How do all these mega good Enslaved threads have so few pages?

Very true. They've got so much awesome material.

I'm sure we've discussed this before but what are your fave Enslaved albums Pika?

NICE!

Mine currently are

1. Mardraum

2. Isa

3. Monumension

This has to be bumped, love it. Hope Axioma clicks now too, never been too big on the post Below The Lights stuff, but this has skyrocketed over the past few weeks, so hope the others follow.

So you like their transition era the most. Interesting!

My first experience with them was Ruun and Isa so everything that followed clicked very easily.

You should probably try listening to the albums that followed chronologically. I think you'll enjoy Ruun as well because it's similar to this, in a way!

Yeah their transition stuff ticks all the right boxes for me, so crazy and diverse and weird, never heard anything like it sadly. It's just too cool.

And definitely going with Ruun next, expect I'll love it a lot more than I did when rating it (a 2.5 can't be right!).

idk axioma and riitiir blew them up a bit

and vikingligr/frost got some albeit not enough recognition for being trv epics ov the 90s

Yeah, I did see some goth kids at my high school wear Vikingligr sweaters during the early 00s. Still wasn't enough though, agreed. Which is strange especially when looking at that enormous discog with many incredibly high means!

IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIISAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA [2], and

Lunar Force/Bounded By Allegiance/Return To Yggdrsill, are top material. Such a great album. Honestly, i love all of their discog, always attracted to their exotic music structure, very creative, imo. Cheers.

"1. Mardraum"

Bought this one last month, still trying to get into. It's no easy listening for sure.

Yeah it's a bit of a weirdo, but it's sooooo good too! Chaotic and messy and crazy.
