that's definitely not what all ambient music is dub ambient is like one of the most prominent subgenres and only like half of ambient music is entirely rooted in electronic sounds

Sorry to come off as dickish there. I just don't agreed with the sentiment that if something is boring it's ambient. I never denied that this has "ambient characteristics" though.
