it was a huge stylistic shift to something more sabbath-y and jammy... probably not a 1 from the parts i heard of it but idk



also, yknow, none of the people involved that made sane asylum a bit of a cult classic have anything to do with the band anymore (claypool, lalonde, hammett)

From what I've read, vocalist/guitarist Marc Biedermann is in this new lineup. I didn't remember Hammett had produced these guys. Cool stuff.

yeah the band has been biedermann's baby since like 1979? but they got zero attention before this album. hammett producing was a big deal, and retrospectively so were the primus guys playing on it



im curious what a new one would sound like though
