I'm sorry, but I don't get the hating on Miss Machine. I think it's an amazing album, I actually prefer that to Calculating Infinity. Greg is a good vocalist. He knows how to structure his vocals with the song.

I cant stand Greg and Calculating is the best thing they'll ever do.

I like both but they won't better Calculating Infinity.

I like it, it's growing on me every moment. It's a good album, proving that DEP is ridiculously consistent with each release.

Excellent album, awful band.....well, I shouldnt say that. Their musicianship is off the wall, yet they've always have had an iritating lead singer.
|
| |
Wow, you have a rather warped view on music then

Greg is pretty good, though doesn't fit their style as much as Dimitri.

i'm a fan of the album, but i think it is short. i really wanted Sick on Sunday to be
fleshed out a lot more, and was hoping for a lot more with the "When Acting as a
Particle/Wave" songs. Sleeping Giants got me into Dillinger, as i couldn't actually
tolerate Panasonic Youth when i first heard it. it was too frantic for me at the
time, and it just didn't process at all in my brain. i couldn't physically work out
what was going on for ages, it was just too much to handle. over time i learned to
appreciate the wrest of the songs more as i bought the album solely for Sleeping
Giants. i think Horse Hunter (which actually starts fairly similar to Destro's Secret)
is my favourite song on the album so far, as it starts out chaotically but softens to
that really great vocal ending. i don't think i dislike any songs, but i'm
dissapointed at the general length, and lack of jazz breaks. so i like the songs on
IW that are more 4 structured, but i can see why a lot of you guys dislike it as a
whole
perhaps if Benoit was still there too there woudn't have been such a huge
difference? all past Dillinger albums had two guitarists writing the material, this
only has oneThis Message Edited On 11.14.07

Ben, pretty much, writes the guitars. Maybe not all of it, but he is the predominate writer. I hear a slight revert to the Calculating days the more I listen to this. Not enough to make me happy, but never the less, its something. Its growing on me. Although some of the songs on here do suck.

i was really really hoping this would turn out good.

it's definitely a disappointing record, but some of the poppier melodies aren't too bad. they're just not dillinger.

And I was talking about my rating on itunes for Milk Lizard. I don't know what Itunes you have or use, but in the version in America, you rate the individual songs.
