Yeah Critical Acclaim is still good.

It is shame that this got awful rating. 3,3 being the average of the songs for me. "Afterlife" as the best song, followed up by "Almost Easy", "Critical Acclaim" and "A Little Piece of Heaven".

People criticizing the Rev for his singing need to take a moment and appreciate his impact on the band. His singing opened up a whole new world for the band and allowed them to explore different aspects of their music. I think that Avenged Sevenfold as a band is simply outstanding, and the Rev had a big part in that. Plus, after his death, he united all Deathbats into a closer community, so his legacy lives on.

Boy, I really just do not enjoy Shadow's voice at all. The band/music is pretty decent, but Shadows spewing all over it does not do much for me.

He's grating especially on the new one

I only heard the lead single. I haven't listened to anything of theirs since Nightmare, actually.

The lead single is arguably the worst offender in that sense

I like Shadows, then again, I've always been a fan of abnormal vocals.....or should i say......that i am a fan of bands where lots of people were put off by the vocals

I'm fine with shadows but they're kind of off putting if i havent listened to a7x in a while. Sometimes his vocals are kind of so bad its good tho (sunny disposition especially)

I liked Shadows through Nightmare, then it got grating

I think his voice on the The Stage is the best it's ever been honestly.

In my opinion, this is the last decent album A7X put out. City of Evil was their best, Waking the Fallen slayed, everything else they've done ranges from meh to intolerable.

This album has so many great tracks. Critical Acclaim, Bropmton Cocktail, _
Afterlife, A Little Piece of Heaven...actually the only ones I don't care for are Scream and Almost Easy (which I think is just overrated).

Haven't seen the video lol I can imagine it's not worth my time.

This is better than The Stage, but that album is still fantastic as well.

A Little Piece of Heaven is a nice kind of experimental track. Far better than Scream and these other boring songs
