pretty great album, I'm vibing with the groove focus on here. Only song i don't care for at all so far is the closer. seeing a 3.5 to a 4 on this but ill give it another spin to arrive at a satisfactory score.

i never would have taken you for a scream fanatic woah

Scream is one of their better catchy/commercial tracks from this era; we don't talk about the lyrics but the rest of it holds its ground
or maybe - haven't listened in yrs

Looks like I'm finally getting into a7x at the ripe old age of 26. It's been a wild year so far
|

Yeegh, same I guess. The band is actually starting to become listenable with their last couple releases so it's not the worst time
I still have zero interest in hearing anything that came out in-between City of Evil and The Stage though. The singles I've heard aside from maybe Afterlife have all been embarrassingly bad

I haven't listened to this album years and it is so nostalgic. Lost and especially Dear God kinda suck though.

Lost would’ve been fine without those tacky ass vocal effects
but ya dear god is fucking terrible

Album Rating: 4.0
Lost is still listenable and the guitar work is fantastic. The vocal effects really just ruins the song. There is very little that redeems Dear God. The rest of the album is solid to fantastic radio metal.

similar vocal effects are present on our beloved Cosmic, Ordinary, and G as well, just sayin

Album Rating: 4.0
True, but it works on those songs. It feels completely unnecessary in Lost.
