Well yeah, this has to be one of the best albums ever. I can't stop listening to it. This is also one of the best reviews on the site. Keep up the good work, BOF.This Message Edited On 09.04.05

alrighty I saw a copy of this that said it was played in the actuall speed it was recorded but all the dics before it was played slightly shaper. Anyways I couldn't tell much difference from the original. Meh I could've used that 8 dollars for another CD.

Oh ya this album is hXc to max.

But why is there two takes of the same song? Am I an idiot for asking this? Are they very different?

This album is good stuff, but I have yet to actually purchase it on my own. It will probably be within the next few jazz albums I purchase.

And to forewarn, I may write a review for The Shape of Jazz to Come by Ornette Coleman. We need more jazz on this site.

Miles Davis did a wonderful job on this album. So did John Coltrane.

This music has that kind of "calm, sensual" feel to it. It has its own sound that nothing can compete with.

Its top chart in my books ;)

Gotta love this album. It even beats A Love Supreme in my eyes, which is quite a feat.

Fantastic review. This is one of my favorite jazz albums of all time. You do a good job capturing the essence of the album, and I liked the song by song commentary.
