Black Cascade is where it's at. That's the de-stress album. Goes well with Malevolent Grain.

Objectively I guess, yeah. I never cared much for Diadem. It just seems very bland to me. Not a whole lot going on, ya know?

It probably would be different if I had listened to it at a different time. I jammed Two Hunters for the first time when I was 14. It was my first BM album for sure.

SO IT CHANGED MY LIFE

Diadem is better than this.

I love this too, but I never understood why people thought it was their best. I mean I understand I guess, just don't agree lol.

For me it's all about Behold the Vastness and Sorrow. That has always been one of my favorite songs. I love how the riff towards the end gradually builds and changes into something sweeping and epic. Instead of using a repetitive riff to create an atmosphere, they slowly build upon it to make something more grandiose. And the conclusion is just so rewarding. It'll always be one of my favorite songs in general.

It might be 12 minutes but it goes down like 5. Get lost in it every time.

i like diadem and cascade both more than this

i honestly find vastness and sorrow sort of boring and monotonous when compared with the tracks on diadem, even cleansing wears a bit thin

i will lay down... is an absolute stunner though, as is dea artio. the bookends really make this album

I really need to get this on vinyl. I have Black Cascade but this has eluded me.

It only seems right that my 5000th comment be on an album I truly love.

This is by far their best, been meaning to track down a CD especially since it's their only one not on Spotify. I'd like to have a version with To Reveal on it, but that might only be on the vinyl version.

It's vinyl only for some reason. :/ Which really stinks since it's pretty great.
