Kid A has post-rock listed as one of its genres in the wikipedia article for it. Also if you play their songs on guitar and drums you notice it more, like in Airbag for example, the lead guitar melodies sound like something from Explosions in the Sky or Sigur Ros.

Kid A is like art rock meets avant-garde electronica and ambient. I can't recall specific post-rock moments on that one.

If post-rock is defined really loosely as using rock instruments to make soundscapes and textures, than yea I can see it.

Just thinking about it the influence is a lot stronger here than on any of their other albums but perhaps listening to details I could identify a bit more elsewhere.

I'm with Boney this is their most post-rocky album to me, I think if we're talking about some of their other songs you could include Ful Stop and (possibly) There There

Radiohead/post-rock? Never made any connection myself, interesting. Like Boney said though, I didn't even know what post-rock was when I got into Radiohead.

everyone does that with some artist or other prancer. that's kind of how I feel about godspeed! you

thing about radiohead is they've never let their high praise effect their musical prowess or experimental leanings so they always make consistently great stuff that its hard to deny lives up to the hype. this OK and Kid A are worth checking even if you may have a thing against overrated acts (which in my opinion radiohead isn't)

~80% of radiohead fans are probably insufferable creeps that's undeniable

but this album is amazing and remarkably crisp and honestly one of their less pretentious efforts imo
