My least favourite song is probably an old friend of the Christy's, but it still rules

Unfamiliar one of my GOAT songs. To me it's flawless

The way the bass fills in space in Unfamiliar makes me happy, some of my fav non-flashy bass writing/playing of all time.

Unfamiliar in general, while not entirely joyful in lyrical content, is really energetic and uplifiting. Then again it is quite a technical offering and catchy still. One of the best songs ever imo

oh man SOAO -- Unfamiliar firstly draws me in because of the lyrical content.

I need to give a revisit to that video of them playing through this album live. Wish there was a steady drum cam, dude is an absolute monster

Only Twin is so underrated. The stringz, the syncopated drumming, and the whole "circus show" part and its accompanying climax is probably this band's single greatest moment

Anyone listening to Empire State Bastard? Basically Simon Neill ft. Vennart with Dave Lombardo in the drums. Doesn't sound anywhere near as good as you'd imagine unfortunately. The Vennart influence is nearly inaudible to me

Rivers of heresy is a good album, not a 4+, but a solid 3.5
