I'm sorry, i'm no fan of Bush...he's a tool
But such incessant obsession and hatred makes me just think Ministry are shallow and inconceivable mislead in their political views.
Putting the present president of America on your album and focusing on him is by far one of the dumbest things to ever plague music. This Message Edited On 10.23.07

I agree that Al has become a little tunnel-visioned on his last few efforts, but since most his lyrics are hard to understand and the music is good, it's usually not that big of an issue.

I was dissappointed with this. Rio Grande Blood was great, but this was really boring.

I'm going to stick with a four on this album simply because the bad tracks on this album can be overlooked by some of Ministry's best written stuff on here.

I thought it was a quality record, just inconsistent. There are some absolute ripping songs on here such as Let's Go, Death and Destruction, Roadhouse Blues and No Glory. The rest is good, but they lack the thrashy, in your face riffing and overall energy which the other tracks have.
I still listen to it a lot though.

Yeah, I still listen to it too... it's just I was hoping for more from a final album.

At least they went out on a better note than most bands their age.

i like the review, and respect it. i dont agree wholeheartedly but it is most definitely the weakest of the trilogy. and im also of the opinion that political protest and the like is fine, but to date yrself with naming names is kind of a detractor from the best part of music-its timelessness. take roadhouse blues, awesome song, and also about 40 yrs old. people wont be able to cover any of the songs from these last few albums in 40 yrs without all the kids going 'wtf?'

Ministry don't go out at the top of their game, but prove beyond a doubt that they're running out of ideas, and it's time to quit before they decline any further.
Don't agree, this is one of my favourite Ministry albums, although I haven't heard Rio Grande Blood, what I've heard is good tho. Didn't like the review either, but mostly because I disagree with everything you say. This Message Edited On 08.06.08

That's a shame because Rio Grande Blood is easily the best of the "Bush Trilogy". I even like it more then Psalm 69 actually.

Was disappointed when I got this; wanted another Houses or Rio Grande Blood. It's just a little watered down. Still worth buying.
The tour SUCKED. Other than "Just One Fix", they played nothing but the last three (and aforementioned albums). Good stuff, but this was the last tour of a band that's been around 27 years. Talk about a lousy swan song!

I never got to see these guys live. I almost did for this album, but I'm glad I missed it.

This is the only album of theirs I like since Psalm 69 (save for a couple of songs on Houses of the Mole). I guess it was more my vibe stylistically, sounded a bit more like the straightforward aggressive sound of Psalm. But yeah I don't suppose it's breaking any new ground.
