If I had choose a perfect vocal style it would just be classed as 'Garm'.

Trifo, consider not replying to people like that. I don't think it's realistic to expect a fruitful conversation.

Garm's vocals on this are so La Masquerade Infernal. This album is like Blood Inside for me, where I enjoy it, but don't listen to it as much as I should. But whatever, Ulver rules, best band.

True that. I usually don't but nobody touches Ulver!!! >:-(

And yeah DB, Blood Inside is as dense as this, find them comparable in a way.

This and Blood Inside are comparable because Ulver were never that consistently dense anywhere else, besides the two bm albums. It's all great but they're at their best doing moody avant-garde electronic/ambient music.

The effects they used for the voice in A Memorable Fancy Plates 17-20 are ear-piercing.
On a more postivge note, Plates 21-22 appears right after and it is pretty good.

I would have thought this would be right up your pretentious alley Alex. Do you like any Ulver at all?

There is no way that the generic neofolk of Kveldssanger is better than this.
