1 is definite overkill.
123. The musicianship alone brings this album up to at least a 3.

This band sucks, they are overrated and play shitty music. This album is no different. They try so hard to sound like they are from Europe yet they are from figgin North Carolina.... the US needs to realize they aren't good at everything...
what the hell are you talking about

I have no idea.
All I know is that my friends told me how much this album owned so I listened to it and I was VERY disappointed.

Bands that sound like BTBAM are not from Europe, dude. You're an idiot.

The only thing I can agree with in this review is the quip about the vocals. But Tommy being a horrible vocalist is outweighed by how much of the music he writes.
Otherwise the review is juvenile and immature, and not even in a good way. You can make fun of an album and back yourself up, but instead you chose to say how "this is like a drunken meshuggah jam session"

That's what it sounds like. Most of the riffs seem like cast-offs from some weird meshuggah jam session, especially the ones that weren't suitable enough to make it.
I'm not hating on great albums. I just do not like this at all. Sorry.

You can't just assume everyone knows what a "drunken meshuggah jam session" sounds like.

I am not a super huge fan of this band, but seriously, this album is better than 1.

I mean come on even my dad, I let him have a listen(this is a guy who likes old bands like Beetles, Miles Davis, and classical music), he even was impressed on how complicated, and creative it was. He didn't like the death vocals, but thats just his perferance...I hope...you listened to this more than once or twice. Great albums take a while to settle in, espically one that is as crazy, and unque as this album.

True, but to give this a one is redicious...I can understand people saying 2.5 or 3, because they aren't into this kind of music, or its a bit to crazy for them...but one...please...he is starving for attention...and sadly it worked

i like the melodic parts but the fast/heavy parts get too repetitive. plus throwing in a banjo solo isn't really as crazy as some of you people make it out to be.
btbam are cool, but everyone gives them way too much hype
