Damn Ars, you got the entire Berlin Trilogy in there noice

It's always been something indescribable to me what makes Young Americans such a magical listen for me. The energy, the authentic, vintage Philly soul... It breathes life into me like none of his albums do

"Huge Bowie Fans = Low #1

Critics = Ziggy Stardust #1"

More like:

Critics = Ziggy Stardust #1

Pitchfork and their fans = Low #1

The second half of Stay is so fucking great, damn.

If I had to rank the Bowie I've heard (thoroughly) , it'd probably go:

1. "Heroes"

2. The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust

3. Blackstar

4. Hunky Dory

5. Station to Station

6. Low

7. Young Americans

Well Lodger is like the non-ambient "Heroes" but with world music influence (it's part of the Berlin Trilogy) and Scary Monsters is a beast of it's own and my personal favorite Bowie.

Well "Heroes" is my 3rd fave Bowie, and Lodger is my 4th so they're neck and neck for me.

But check Scary Monsters, Bowie screams on it and it's really artsy and self aware and filled with Robert Fripp absolutely slaying it on the guitar
