It's a quite decent stones album to listen to you got a great opening like Gimmie shelter although I was never too big on you cant always get what you want and that country version of Honky Tonk Women.

Yeah I'm not too fond of Honky Tonk Women myself but I really enjoy You Can't Always Get What You Want.

I do find The Rolling Stones a bit overrated but this is a killer album.

Overrated as fuck but they have done some classic tunes and the all important magic is there running through the myths, legends and music so it all adds up to legendary status in my book.

There is a difference between overrated and bad. I love the Stones, but it's hard to claim they aren't overrated.

Thinking about it in terms of compiling ten of any bands all time great tracks the Stones are one of the greatest ever it's just there is so much shite weighing everything down.

Agreed with both statements. It's hard to deny Keith Richards' legendary status even though I wouldn't put him nowhere near my favorite guitarists. But it's that aura he has, that vibe...

Exactly dude exactly, and that applies to all music and musicians for me. There are some that give off an undeniable vibe I've definitely heard it I just haven't seen it in a long long while.

Need to recheck this band hard; there's also a couple albums I haven't heard by them.

If you're into early Brit invasion stuff, Aftermath and Between the Buttons are great albums. Otherwise, Sticky Fingers is a must-check; I think you guys will enjoy it.

Beggars Banquet is up there as well. Exile on Main St is seen as their masterpiece. Does fuck all for me though.

Yeah never managed to enjoy Exile as much as a lot of other guys. It seems to me a bit bloated for what it is.
