I don't know people, first jam of this didn't hit me as hard as to all of you, gonna try a second run.
And eys, I rate after first listen, cause first impressions are important, so let's see where it goes from here.

my least returned to of KC's classic records. requires a specific mood for me, one that i'm rarely in

Exiles and Part II are incredible but Easy Money and The Talking Drum feel very tedious to me.

i like larks pt 2 and adore everything else on the album! the varied approach suits me, they hit funky, wistful, weird. then they rock out in the end and I allow it lol

The material here is basically bases to be expanded live in my eyes. Like Easy Money here is pretty meek and I wouldn't blame anyone who considers The Talking Drum a bit skippable, but both tracks tend to be really great live.
I do love this, but it's my least fav of this era. That said I'm weird because I recently realized S&BB is my fav KC and one of my fav albums ever in general (I'm talking 5.0 tier), so there's that lol. I accepted I have minority KC opinions

Easy Money is amazing but it’s true that live it was even better. Talking Drum and Larks Tongues Pt. 2 are the two weakest, but still pretty great.

yes, yes it is. Though everything on here is amazing. Easy Money being the weakest song

This definitely sounds better than I remember it being. Went down pretty smoothly today. The Larks parts are incredible. Agreed with whoever thinks Easy Money is the weakest.

About King Crimson live albums we must mention too "The Great Deceiver". This box set is so good. Probably their best live album to check.
