2. people often talk about how virtuoso Fripp and Bruford are and all that but the most immediate thing I hear on Larks is how much of a mess it is. like there's just backmasky guitar everywhere, an extra percussionist doing whatever and a bunch of slightly mis-timed/first take-ish sounding stuff up and down every track and it rules, and if it was polished up like a DT album it would be boring

oh so when King Crimson has three drummers it's an artistic statement but when Slipknot has three drummers it's apparently "cringe"

I’ve only heard their debut and discipline but this is by far my favourite album of theirs so far. Track 1 is really great for waking up in the morning, well at least for 3 and a half minutes.

Edit: hmm okay maybe not by FAR but still slightly better / my kind of thing.

c.clock.wise run stop: very special album musically, full re-jam, yesss.

T/t, we can here the influence that give rise to Discipline LP style. Such a great weird one, LTiA

Part-2 is so heavy.

All release in 1973, stunning.

Idiosyncratic talented creative musical artists, they are.

This one has grown on me recently. The Bartok influence on this is beyond words.

Classic!
