GR ainĀ“t heavier or softer than Deliverance or Damnation, respectively. Opeth just mixed both styles just like *they did it before with better results* , added keyboards and give it a more prog-rock friendly production. People who bought, and call it another masterpiece, probably didnĀ“t even listened to it.
