Metalcore in general sucks really badly though that's the problem.

it's gotten old. not exactly a timeless form of music.

Exactly. Nu-metal got old even quicker

I don't like metalcore, MichaelSnoxall, so don't assume shit.
|

"Maybe you don't like metalcore because you don't know much about it, eh? "
Or maybe you're just being a little stuck up assuming other people haven't heard much of it just because they don't like it. Like I could say you probably don't know much about black metal.

7 angels 7 plagues formed misery signals
Training For Utopia are fantastic
Zao i hate
Rorschach were better during their pure hardcore days (early)
Converge are always good, I have two of their albums
|
| |
Yeah but that's more than you expected I would know.
|
| |
wow what a lame pissing contest. also, can you really say that converge and august burns red are the same genre?
|
| |
No because they are totally different musically

would probably only call Poison the Well's earlier stuff metalcore, and it's actually pretty good though I much prefer You Come Before You onwards. not starting a fucking genre-battle because it's just boring. I'm just saying that this album is brilliant in a genre full of mediocracy. Converge is really tight too, same goes for Misery Signals.

August Burns Red are a lot more melodic

Parkway Drive has some solid tunes too [2]
that's about the extent of the praise I'd give them though. I don't think their albums are all that consistent. I'd say I'm most partial to Horizons, though.
