Think I've listened to all Enslaved studio albums now. This was the last one. I'll still continue my discography jam though, some of those newer albums I haven't heard in years.

yeah pretty sure I like this even more than Isa. Api-vat is great. Pretty much every song on here is a hit though.

yeah, this seems to be on a similar level to Isa. First spin was maybe even more encouraging, in fact (despite having heard Isa before this additional Enslaved exploration).

It certainly is not. Trif, I bumped Eld too, but you did not see (presumably). I'm very confused because I was expecting messiness and it was actually fairly cohesive, considering.

This album is pretty much flawless. Every track has it’s own identity but it all flows so well. I think my favourite track is ‘Essence’, just a perfect blend of prog with their Nordic influences. One thing I love about this album is the guitar tone; so much clarity in the upper mid range, so every note is perfectly clear and it sounds heavy without dripping in distortion.
