Bottle up and explode over and over
Keep the troublemaker below
Put it away and check out for the day
In for a round of overexposure
The thing mother nature provides
To get up and go
Bottle up and explode, seeing stars surrounding you
Red white and blue
You look at him like you've never known him
But I know for a fact that you have
The last time you cried
Who'd you think was inside?

I got static in my head
The reflected sound of everything
Tried to go to where it led
But it didn't lead to anything
The noise is coming out, and if it's not out now
I know it's just about to drown tomorrow out

pretty good but definitely lost a lot of the magic of the first three imo.

It's got plenty of classic tracks, but i've never loved it as much as a whole compared to the first three either.
I feel like elliott utilizes the grander production well on some tracks but some end up sounding a little bit more sterile than i'd like, and overall I could do without tracks like question mark & amity.

This is his transition album imo. I think he perfected this style of songwriting on Figure 8.
