I mean yeah that and the opener so far are pretty cool tbh but I'm still working my way through

I've pretty much been listening to nothing but Bjork and Meshuggah the past few weeks, I don't know what's going on... but I FINALLY got around to listening to this. It's varied but kind of inconsistent. Earth Intruders rules, and I actually like this more than Biophilia now, which grew off me pretty hard on second listen... Crystalline is fucking stuck in my head for the past few days though. That song is pretty nefarious.

Worst album cover ever agreed

"The Dull Flame of Desire" sounds like Bjork just Bjorking over some old RTS videogame soundtrack

I'm into big smurf feet so I approve of it. The Dull Flame of Desire still sucks though, it has yet to grow on me. I don't want no filthy male vocals on my Bjork track thank you very much.

On the other hand there's tons of subtle male vocals on Medulla including Mike Patton who I'm pretty sure totes an impressive penis himself and I can't fault his contribution to that album.

I guess that's why it's universally considered her worst. I think she was just having fun and experiment and not giving a fuck, I mean look at that cover.

2nd worst because Medulla is actually grating, this just misses the mark on a regular basis. Utopia is inoffensive but largely mediocre, I'd still put it above this though.

This is super boring and annoying though, in my eyes it's worse than Medulla

Earth Intruders is a banger tho

Medulla is fine, just kinda annoying at times. The closer is a bop

Medúlla has Oceania and Who Is It? which are both far better than anything on here imo. It's a good album overall, but it has Ancestors which is my least favorite Björk track overall.

I'd call this her weakest regular studio album, but Drawing Restraint 9 is definitely her weakest studio release, no doubt.

It's a pain to listen to.

There's a similar piece on Drawing Restraint 9 called Pearl.
