I kind of like the vocals. The music is better though IMO.

Agreed, I think the vocalist is outstanding.

The vocals are the only reason I even listen to this anymore. Thor is an idiot if he thinks it's just "breebree". Well, that among other things.

I don't think it's just brees you dolt, but they're definitely used plenty of times and they piss me off.

I know what you mean Thor, but that goes with anything. Hear it enough times and it will begin to annoy you. That's why I only listen to this album on a full moon...
Not really, but it'd be pretty cool if I did.

Hopefully their next album will be more varied.

This is one of the best death metal cd's of 06. This album just never lets up (well maybe for the little instrumental in the middle of the cd) but thats it! Truely a great album.

I have never listened to these guys until today! I checked out the E-Card on their website and they have 30 second clips from every song on the album. This is some damn good melo-death!

I love this cd so much. There isn't a truly skippable track on here at all. they all just own.

I listened to this in it's entirety several times this weekend. I must say, it's better than I thought at first. Vocals are absolutely insane, Hermida is one of the best in the genre. Some of the riffs are mindblowing in how well written they are too.

The only problem with this album is that some tracks are just overshadowed by the sheer brilliance of others. Even if none of the tracks are bad, some just aren't as amazing as say, Eradication, Wage Slaves or Day of Justice. I might review this pretty soon actually. This Message Edited On 01.27.08

I find the album get pretty repetitive. Too many chugging breakdowns

if you aren't into that kind of thing then you probably won't like them. however, if you are... JACKPOT.

band is amazing live, cd gets old after awhile. All the songs start to sound the same.

I did too, the breakdowns are way to frequent, though. If they could cut some of those out, they would be even better.
This is like Melo Death with breakdowns, though. Contrary to popular belief, I don't see it as deathcore anymore.

This has grown on me immensely. I can listen to it in one sitting quite comfortably. It's not all that samey in the songwriting department, moreso in the style and execution of the songs.

The first four songs are really, really strong though. The album just kind of lacks a bit of gusto in the middle. Picks up near the end though - the opening inhaled vocal at the start of The True Beast is utterly insane.
