If you are not under a near trance by the time you reach track 5 on this disc then you are listening to it wrong. If you listen to this album, and JUST listen to it (ie get off the computer, not while jogging, etc) - it will consume you to the point that you don't even notice you sat through a 25 minute track towards the end.



And Jesus'Tod is the best Burzum track next to Det Som En Gang Var IMHO.

They're more of a friend of a friend of a friend, but yeah, they named it after the band. At least it isn't as permanent as getting something like a tattoo though, so it works out.

Got this recently i like it alot but i think its just me and my attention span but my mind wanders on the fifth track. I guess thats the point but i still feel like i'm missing something with this album as if theres something else scratching under the surface i havn't discovered yet!? :-s

Despite the 25 minute ambient track that everyone seems to hate so much, I had to 5 this. This and Hvis Lyset Tar Oss both deserve 5's IMO and Det Som En Gang Var and Burzum even come really close. As much as some people hate to say it, Varg is a musical genius and almost all of his albums prove that.
