The slow riff in the middle of 'Set the world afire' gets my jimmies in a twist. Annoys me how so many people dismiss this without listening to it properly. Also, totally agree with everyone on the 'anarchy in the uk' travesty, so glad the skip button was invented.

This album is garbage. Not all Megadeths old albums are good if you ask me. All their songs start off good then go down hill

I just cannot agree that 'Killing is My Business' was a better debut than 'Kill Em All'. From top to bottom KEM was a far superior album from the production all the way down to the songwriting. 'So Far, So Good, So What' is a very underrated Megadeth album, but when compared to the rest of Megadave's 80's output it definitely falls short. Either way, solid review even if I somewhat disagree with your opinion on certain aspects of the album. I do agree with the rating you gave the album though.

If I were to strike a comparison, Kill 'Em All is faaar better than killing is my business, Ride The Lightning is also far better than Peace Sells, Master Of Puppets is far better than So Far, So Good but Megadeth starts being better starting in Rust In Peace. Not because Metallica becomes shit(although it soon becomes), but Megadeth becomes insanely better with RIP and Countdown To Extinction despite not being as awesome as RIP easily surpasses Metallica's s/t(which was great, but nowhere near their first 4). After that it's easy to surpass Metallica.

This album bored me, and Dave's voice made me want to punch something, but not in a good way.

I know right. Went back and jammed to the first three-ish tracks on Countdown to Extinction after

listening to this album, and found those first tracks alone to be miles ahead of anything here.

Obviously it means that Dave improved as an artist, which isn't a bad thing at all. :]
