"so I wouldn't have a terrible time in your scenario until I had to pee"
paha fair fair, will add a toilet on wellfare grounds
defs agree that Bad Moon was a transitional album insofar as Brave Men Run and to a lesser degree Death Valley gave birth to their classic sound, but also that one and EVOL share a murk that the rest of their discog doesn't really touch on (iirc Kim called EVOL their goth record (tongue somewhat in cheek) and Bad Moon effectively sits as its horror counterpart). Precisely because they were ironing out their sound, I think there's a real sense of tentative "does this work?" on the likes of Ghost Bitch/Society Is A Hole/I'm Insane that gives the darker side of those tracks palpable emotional depth. I get the same vibes as I feel most people do from, say, The Seer on that record, but rather than an oldtimer trying his best to be profound/menacing (ft. S-tier percussion), there's a real "what have we done?" sense of the unknown hearing it coming from a bunch of zany art school kids
"it’s just weird doin tough-guy real-life hypotheticals on sputnikmusic"
i am not gonna take lessons on optics from the kid borrowing my optics to sport a primo wavyboi referee shirt lmfao ily keep them yellow cards in the sensei cabinet
